The Women’s Team of the Moravian College Lacrosse Club is about to begin its 2013 Spring Season! This is the team’s first year as a member of the Mid Atlantic Women’s Lacrosse League (MAWLL) of the WCLA. If you are a fan of Lacrosse we invite you to attend our games and see us play.
Highlights of the 2012 Spring Season
In the final game of the Spring 2012 season, Moravian defeated Delaware Valley College 14 to 6 in an action packed game. Allie Hess scored 5 goals and Goalie Chelsea Bortz recorded 11 saves. 7 Moravian players scored goals, including a hat trick by Chelsea Spagnolo. Moravian finished the year with an official record of 2 wins and 3 losses.
Highlights of the 2012 Fall Season
Moravian competed for the trophy in the first annual Anthony Morelli Tournament. Other tournament participants included teams from Lafayette College and Delaware Valley College. Congratulations to the Moravian Women’s team for winning the Morelli Cup!
